This year's "Experimenta" brings the world premiere of Bazon Brock's Unterstzuoberst; from Bremen the Torquato Tasso in a staging by Stein; from Japan, the Tenjo Sajiki Theater; and from New York, the Bread and Puppet Theater; not to mention the Teatro Stabile, Torino. The piece Titus/Iphigenie by Beuys and Peymann will be world premiered at the Theater am Turm. It is based on Shakespeare and Goethe. Gerhard Rühm's Ophelia und die Wörter will also be premiered. The Theater am Turm will be found in a swimming pool for the first time, since Rühm's piece eine Szene für Frauenchor, Bariton und eine Schwimmerin will be shown. DIE ZEIT, 16.05 1969
